Register with our nursery in Nunhead, London, for fun and educational early years experiences that your children will cherish for a lifetime. It couldn’t be simpler to guarantee a happy childhood. When you decide to use the services of The Puddleduck Nursery, just send us an application either via email or by calling us and making an appointment. During the appointment, we’ll give you and your little one a guided tour around our premises, so you can see for yourself the brilliant facilities we have on offer.
All new parents are invited to come in for a couple of play sessions at our centre. This lets your child interact with other children while you spend time talking to other parents and learning about all the benefits of choosing us. During this chat, we’ll find out about your expectations and outline what support we offer during your child’s development. We have a waiting list that’s useful if we don’t have space for your child or they are still too young to attend. We take care of up to 39 children at any one time.
Here at Puddleduck Nursery, we have CCTV in the main room, so that you can see the fun and games your children get up to while they’re with us. At the end of the day, all parents get feedback from our team as to what they have expereinced and learned from each other. They find out about their personal routines and developing realtionships.
Our aim is to provide you with the care that your child needs. We are registered with the local authority to offer free educational hours to children between the ages of 3 and 4. This is funded by the government to assist parents in difficult circumstances. When your child turns 3, the government will offer funding for them to access nurseries for a certain amount of hours per week. We then offer those hours free to the parents.
This allows children in vulnerable families, such as parents on income support or who are in the midst of training, to get the help their children need. There is also funding available for children with special needs. This scheme has recently been extended to include two-year-olds whose families fulfil the necessary criteria. Contact your local authority for details.
